Jasmine Jones, affectionately known as Jas, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where family, culture, and community shaped the foundation of her journey. Inspired by her grandparents’ Southern roots, Jas grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of Southern cooking, timeless family recipes, and strong values centered on work ethic, discipline, and perseverance. Those early experiences in the kitchen were more than just meals—they were lessons about love, family, and legacy.
Jas began cooking at the young age of 8 years old, learning firsthand how food could bring people together and create lasting memories. What started as helping in the kitchen quickly turned into a lifelong passion for preparing meals that nourish both the body and the soul.
Driven to turn that passion into something meaningful, Jas pursued higher education and earned her degree in Business Administration and Marketing, equipping herself with the knowledge to build a legacy of her own. Her goal has always been bigger than just cooking—it’s about sharing culture, educating others about food, and inspiring future generations.
Today, Jas is on a mission to provide her community with food knowledge, meaningful recipes, and the power of family traditions.
